Pain can serve a valuable purpose because it acts as an indication that there are issues in the body. My focus is generally to turn down the intensity of the pain to make it more manageable. For many people, having some relief from pain can be a blessing.
One element you can notice is whether your pain increases as you become more stressed. If you look at taking some long and relaxing breaths, is that you may find that your body starts to let go of the pressure in the body. What we find often is that as the body relaxes there is a natural pain reduction. Part of our process is to teach you some basic procedures of self-hypnosis that you can practice and take control of your life.
